Welcome to the 2019-2020 season!

We are very excited to have you as part of our program this year! Our 2019 Fall marching show is going to be a great experience for all of you. Our season will start with Band Camp which will run August 5th through August 10th. Please plan to attend Band Camp; this camp is meant to get all students, new and returning, a great and fun start into our new year of performances.  We will teach all the new students the basics as we develop the returning members to be leaders; and all members will develop to be the best member they can be!

 

Students will be able to pick up schedules and take their pictures on their assigned day (Freshmen on August 6). No worries about that.

 

Rehearsals

Band Camp: Full band and colorguard

August 5-9, 10am-1pm, 2pm-5pm, and 6pm-9pm

Saturday August 10, 10am-1pm, 2pm-5pm, evening BBQ and performance for friends and family

​

Fall: Full band and colorguard

Starting 8/13 Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9pm

Saturdays 10-1, 2-5, 6-9 until 11/21.

​

Jazz Band: Jazz A, M-F 6:40am-7:10am

        Jazz B, Tu, W, F, 3:15-4:15pm

​

Concert bands have no outside school band class.

​

Marching band will perform at 6 Football games and 4  competitions. The detailed and complete schedule for all band activities is found on our website, ogbb.org. In the past 4 years, the 5 bands and 2 colorguards have performed 272 times publicly across the state and in Europe.
