2018 Ride 4 Moura Music
So it is almost time for my 4th annual #Ride4MouraMusic. I am super excited for the ride. There is a major change this year form the first two years. With Highway 1 being closed still due to the landslide from last March or April I will have to go from Morro Bay to King City. This will add approximately 30 miles to the ride. I am not concerned but this will push my ride total to 458 miles. Another change is that Teresa will not be traveling with me. My dad and Tyler will be filling in for Teresa this year.
The hard truth about the ride this year is that we need to raise money to keep the Oak Grove Marching Band and Colorguard alive. 4 years ago we lost our bingo game. In response I came up with this ride. If each alum and alum family donates a mere $20 we will be able to carry on our 45 year tradition of excellence on the football field. We have our music composed and our design team is hard at work developing another great show. Please consider donating to this event.
I will be keeping everyone up to date with my 5 day simulation which begins tomorrow and the actual ride that begins on June 11 on the UCLA campus. I will travel from UCLA to Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara to Lompoc, Lompoc to Morro Bay, Morro Bay to King City, King City to Pebble Beach, and finish with Pebble Beach to Oak Grove. 458 miles of fun and sun! Please share and spread the word. Only you can help save the marching band at Oak Grove.
Thank you! Moura
